The Mentor Program is a support network for parents of children with disabilities .

The Goal Of the Parent Mentor:

* Guide families through the special education process, including rights and responsibilities.

* Provide Information and resources to families including education laws, districts programs and services, and community resources.

* Listen and provide support to families and educators on an individual basis

* Attend Individual Education Program ( IEP ) meetings and other meetings by parent or staff request.
